Visiting the best stud farms
The EAMM board has established an independent department for international contacts. EAMM has a dense network of connections to the entire board of the ABCCMM as well as to the most important breeders in the entire country. Several trips to these stud farms have been organizedin the past. Additional excursions are planned for the next year.
Visiting local stud farms is very informative and interesting and the owners are always ready to present them in detail. Normally they start presenting thefacilities, after theyexplain their breeding philosophy and techniques (selection of breeding material, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, etc.), followed by the demonstration of horse training and training techniques. It`s a very impressive experience if the owners place their horses – often first class competition horses - to the visitors disposal for extensive riding tests. For European visitors it´s also an unforgettable experience to enjoy the Brazilian hospitality in a special way, the local cuisine and “farm life”.
EAMM is also able to support specific search-projects, to arrange individual farm visitsand to give purchase assistance by horse judgment, selection, price negotiation etc. The export of horses by air freight has already been organized several times by the support of EAMM. How to find the right airline? What are appropriate destinations in Europe? What has to be observed at customregulations? How will your new horse reach the stable in Germany or any other any country in Europe? These are just a few questions EAMM can answer.
